Xiaomi has launched the Mi AirPOP Air Pollution mask, adding to its portfolio of wellness and lifestyle products in India.

Xioami claims that Mi Anti-Pollution Mask offers 99% PM2.5 protection thanks to its four-layer filtration process. Xiaomi Mi AirPOP PM2.5 Anti-Pollution Mask price in India is Rs. 249 for 2 pieces.


According to the company, these 2 packs of masks can last for a month. While the above statistics are based on usage of a mask for 2 hours a day as a single mask has a life of 15 hours.

 Xiaomi Mi AirPOP Air Pollution Mask Features

The Xioami AirPop Pollution Mask posses 4 layer filtration protection combats air pollutants like seasonal haze, dust strings, cold and flu pathogens, allergenic pollen, grease, smoke, and exhaust.

According to Xiaomi, The primary layer blocks the large particles; the second electrostatic micro-filtration layer blocks out 0.3-micron particles. The support mesh provides the 3D structure to the mask and the last water-permeable layer to reduce vapour buildup.


While the primary layer is designed to block out large particles, there is an electrostatic micro-filtration layer to block out particles of 0.3 micrometers in diameter. There is also a support mesh to provide the 3D structure to the mask. Lastly, you’ll have a water-permeable layer to reduce vapour buildup on your face.

Thanks to the special non-woven microfiltration material, the mask is soft, skin-friendly, light and easily blocks out the particulate matter.

Another Xiaomi Pollution Mask feature is the presence of a Large Vortex Breathing Valve that discharges the warm air and vapour while blocking pollutants. It enables the flow of constant air reducing the eyeglass fogging.

According to the manufacturer, the Mask comes with a 3D Soft Fit Sponge Technology which allows the mask to automatically mould to the sides of the noise reducing pressure on the bridge and reducing leakage.

The company has steered clear of metal nose bars. It helps in preventing the possible markings on the face of the mask bearer.


The MiPop Air Pollution Mask has passed China’s new Level B filtering standard, China’s new Level B filtering standard, a skin-friendly test of German institute and odour test of China.

The mask is handy and sturdy thanks to its design which comes with special creases for easy folding. You can fold the mask to one-third of its size for storing and carrying around.
